top 10 toughest tongue twisters.3

These are the top ten toughest/greatest tongue twisters:

1. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? A woodchuck would chuck no wood since a woodchuck can’t chuck wood. But if a woodchuck could chuck wood and if a woodchuck would chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck? If a woodchuck could chuck wood and if a woodchuck would chuck wood, should a woodchuck chuck wood? A woodchuck should chuck wood as long as a woodchuck could chuck wood and as long as a woodchuck would chuck wood. A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as it could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

2. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers? If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, wheres the peck of peppers that Peter Piper picked?

3. Fuzzy-Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy-Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy-Wuzzy wasnt fuzzy was he?

4. Moses supposes his toeses (toes) are roses, but moses supposes wrong you see. Because nobodys toeses are roses, As Moses supposes his toeses to be.

5. Betty Botta bought a bit of butter. “But,” said Bette, “this butter’s bitter! If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter!” So Betty Botta bought a bit of better butter and put it in her bitter batter which made Betty Botta’s bitter batter a bit better.

6. Toy Boat.

7. Unique New York.

8. Around the rugged rocks the ragged rascal ran.

9. She sells sea shells by the seashore. The shells she sells are surely seashells. So if she sells shells on the seashore, I’m sure she sells seashore shells.

10. How much blood could a blue bird bleed if a blue bird bled blue blood?

These arent in any particular order. Not from hardest to easiest. Not from easiest to hardest. That is because I want YOU to read them and all tell ME what ones you think are the hardest. =].

HAVE FUN!!!.

drug testingg.0

The lovely question is:

Should students in extracurricular activities be tested for drugs?

I honestly dont think that students in ANY activity, extracurricular or not, should be tested for drugs, especially by the school. It isnt the school’s job to make sure that kids aren’t doing drugs, its the parents repsoncibility. Plus, every kid, no matter what activity they are involved in has to go through health each year. And then they have their parents reminding  them not to do drugs. Some students already dont like coming to school and being tested for drugs for school. It would make ME feel uncomforatble along with a lot of other students in the school.

So, no, I dont believe that students in extracurricular classes should be tested for drugs.

what would you do if you werent afraid…1

If I wasn’t afraid of anything I would be completely bored out of my mind.
I would be able to go through life not having to be afraid of anything.
Yes, that would be cool to be fearless, but where would the excitement be in my life?
What interesting climax is this story going to have? There wouldn’t be one because nothing would be able to tear me down to let me attempt to build my wall again.
I wouldn’t be afraid of spiders or of clowns or the dark.  And yes, it would be amazing not to be afraid of the silly things. But these things only make my life better… or in other words, funnier.

For example, if I wasn’t afraid of the dark, then my friends wouldn’t hear the funny stories about me sprinting to the light to turn it on, or walking into my room and jumping to my bed from 5 feet away, or even more so, turning on a bunch of lights to get to one place. (kitchen to hallway. turn out kitchen light. hallways to room. turn out hallway light. and sprint to my room.)

I mean honestly, where would the excitement be? Yeah, there wouldn’t be any.

None.

Zero.

Zip.

Zilch.

Nada.

EL GRANDE NADA.

I think you get my point.
So if I wasn’t afraid, of anything, I don’t know what I would do.
I honestly don’t. That’s how boring my life would be.

Now that you have heard my answer, it only leaves one question that asks for a million answers:

what would you do if you weren’t afraid.

directions on how to use the bathroom.7

Today, September 20th, my social studies teacher gave me some very valuable advice and I wanted to share it with you.

I was about to enter his class for tutorial and he was standing outside. I really needed to pee. So, like a normal 8th grader, I go up to him and ask if I could go to the bathroom. He asked me why he should let me go and I told him because I had to pee. He asked if I was sure and I told him that I definately needed to go to the bathroom. He said that I was allowed to go but he wanted to offer some direction. I decided to take it.

So there he was standing there, looking as jolly as can be because I gave him permission to give me directions on how to use a toilet.

He told me that I should be very careful. There are some creepy people in that bathroom.

I told him that I would be careful because I wouldn’t want to get raped in the middle school  bathroom.

He also told me to flush before I got up because if I didn’t then it would be all spikkispikkiquuuuuuuuuuur.
When saying: spikkispikkiquuuuuuuuuuuuuur, he made violent hand motions and made it seem like the water from the toilet was going to jump out of the potty at me and gobble me up.

So I replied to him that I would be careful with the toilet waters because I wouldn’t want something tragic to happen.

So, take this advice from my 8th grade social studies teacher:
When going potty, be fully aware of the creepy people in the bathroom and flush before you stand up.

I hope this keeps you from getting raped or getting gobbled by toilet water. =] <3.

OneWebDay0

I asked my mom, my moms friend down the street, (Liz) and her friends husband (Joey), 4 questions.

Here are the results of the questions.

1. Before computers, how did you spend your free time?

MOM: “I would play outside with my friends or play board games with my family/friends.

LIZ: “I spent a lot of time outside. I would go biking, running, or I would go for a walk. I liked listening to music and dancing. I spent a lot of time with my friends and I really liked rollerskating.”

JOEY: “I would hang out with my friends, ride bikes, and do pretty much anything a kid would do.”

2. What was harder to do without a computer?

MOM: “We didn’t have email so we would have to write letters. ( type writer or handwritten ). There was no researching online so everyone would have to go to the library to do research in books.”

LIZ: “It was hard to look up phone numbers without calling information to get the number. It was hard to find addresses; our best source was a phonebook. Today, you can just search something online and its there.”

JOEY: “Well, it was hard to research things, especially if you couldn’t get to the library. You would have to find a Plan B.”

3. What made it better to not have a computer?

MOM: “There was more family time. Everyone wasn’t on the computer every 5 minutes and people would have time to do stuff.”

LIZ: “It was easier to get together with friends. Nowadays everyone is on the computer. Its like they are glued to it. There’s no life other than the computer. Before there was computer people would get together and have a good time.”

JOEY: “People had lives outside of sitting on their bottoms in front of a computer. They had their priorities straight. Instead of surfing the web, they would do things, like go outside or hang out with their friends and family.”

4. Now, how has computer affected the way you live and work?

Mom works at an eyeglass place. She orders frames and dispenses them.

MOM: “I use the computer ALL the time for work. I use it to research different brands and to transmit orders. Without it its hard to work because every company uses computers now.”

Liz has a part-time job working for Avon.

LIZ: “I use the computer to submit orders and receive orders. I research anything. Computers are good because people can sell things online instead of a tag sale. It makes things a lot easier. You can keep in touch with old friends and family members who live a long distance away.”

 Joey is an auto-repair mechanic.

JOEY: “I don’t use computers in my job but other people that I work with use computers to order parts for the cars.”

Now as you can see, computers have made life in general much easier.

Lets all celebrate OneWebDay!!!!!

the tragedy that began what we thought was the end..1

On the day of 9/11, I was in 2nd grade.

In school they really didnt tell us anything.. so I didnt really know until like the next day.. but when I did find out, there was alot of things happening.. and it seemed like thats all anyone was talking about.

I didnt exactly know what to think. I didnt know if I should have been afriad or if I shouldnt feel anything. I wasnt sure what I was supposed to think. After I got home, it was ALL OVER the news and it finally came to me that it was a big deal.

All I remember is that for weeks afterwards, it was all over the news. I thought that it would never end. Its been 6 years and it has sort of faded but I will always remember what happened and I will feel sorry for the people who had lost family members.

if i had a wish for someone else…7

i could have one wish for someone else… hm. i dont know who i would give it to. i mean  there is  so many valuable people in my life. like my friends.. or someone in my family. theres so many people that have done something for me i just cant pick one. but APPARENTELY i need to pick one person.. so i am going to thinkk…

okay. its been about 15 minutes of me thinking. sitting and thinking. thinking and sitting. i have SO MANY good ideas.. but i cant decide which one to use. i have them.. on a piece of paper.. AND I CAN NOT CHOOSE! this is so aggravating.

hm. grandma? mommyy? a friend? i dont know. if i picked someone from my family like my mom or my baby brother, i could write forever. if i wrote about a friend.. i could write FOREVER. now that i think about it, i kind of think that i decided on my brother.

YES. FINALLY. THANK GOD.

if i had one wish for anyone person, my wish would be for my baby brother.

hes the greatest in the world. hes done so much yet theres still so much for him to do. so much for him to see. he has a whole life ahead of him and i want him to be able to see the world. i want him to be able to experience everything. i want him to be able to go through life happy.

I WISH THAT IN HIS LIFE, HE HAS THE BEST TIME EVER.

no sadness. only happiness.

because every minute you are unhappy is another 60 of happiness that you can never get back.

if i had one wish for someone else i would give it to my brother because whenever i am cranky, theres always a way for him to make me smile. we are so silly together and when he laughs, theres no way that you can hold back a smile. he is THE CUTEST baby in the world and since he was born my life was changed. he made me so much happier. he made me appreciate the things in life that i would normally take for granted. hes amazing.

each day when he gets home from the sitter, hes always smiling. we play with his toys and have a blast. we pretend that we are airplanes and we chase eachother across the floor.

we ALSO eat spaghetti o’s together. and pretty much any other food that we can find. [ like carrots or french fries or anything else that will satisfy us. ]

we always find the weirdest ways to have fun. we bang on pots and pans and we zoom across the floor in a tonka truck.. well at least he does. =].

no matter what we do, we always have fun doing it. whenever im with my brother all of my problems or stress goes away and its like im little again. he is so much fun. he has brightened up my world and im sure his has gotten brighter too. i want someone out there to make his days happier and i want him to make someone elses days the same.

thats why if i had one wish for someone other than myself, it would be for my brother.
